Right Over The Top is a family business providing style for over 30 years, established in 1986 using skills developed in the prestigious Mayfair salon that was Lenoards on Upper Grosvenor street.
The business was first started when Andrew and Rachel moved to Dorset, since then their two children have followed in their footsteps.
Both Harriet and Josh also trained in Mayfair, bringing the opportunities of working with high profile client lists. Since then they have both provided styling for top magazine shoots, the BAFTAS and the Royal family.
Whilst being in Shaftesbury Harriet and Josh have also worked at Glastonbury where they had their own salon for people needing that much needed hair attention.
Right over the top was voted in Tatler as “One of the best local hair salons” and “Number one best salon”in Country Calling.

Meet the team
Georgina Alner
Georgina Alner is one of the Senior Stylists and has been working at Over the top for over 12 years. She runs a busy column and has built up a loyal client following.
Sally Rigby
Sally has years of experience. She joined our team over two years ago and has brought new ideas and has incredible artistic flair.
Gemma Marsh
Gemma Marsh is working part time on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays. Gemma has trained with us for 3 years.
Carol Curtis
Carol Curtis owns Butterflies Beauty and has a room upstairs. Carol offers many treatments including shellac, minx, waxing, massage and Environ facials. Carol also sells a full range of Jane iredale products.

Apprenticeship
We are looking for a special person or persons who have the drive and determination to become a successful hairdresser and ultimately your own boss!
You need to be willing to train on and off the job. Enthusiastic at all times with a smile ..even when you don’t always feel like it! Daily duties are to assist and communicate with us and the clients and generally keeping the salon under control . If you feel you are this person ! We would love to hear from you !
